Death Cafe

Due to restrictions in present government guidelines, we cannot arrange in-person meetings. Keep in touch for further information on future meetings in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.

At a Death Cafe people, often those unknown to each other, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death topics and dying.

They say:

“Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Our Death Cafes are always offered:

- On a not-for-profit basis

- In an accessible, respectful and confidential space

- With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action

- Alongside refreshing drinks and nourishing food – and cake! “

Curious? Do you think it could be engaging/informative?

Let’s start breaking down taboos around death and dying, not only to reduce the fear that we have around it but to ensure that we can live rich, full, satisfying lives with meaning and purpose.

Check out the Death Café website for more information.
